At The Kensington, we recognize that caregiving can be stressful, which is why we recently partnered with Dr. Peter McAllister of the New England Center for Neurology and Headache for a virtual presentation on migraines, why they happen, and ways to combat.
Migraines are a painful medical condition that affects over 40 million Americans. During this virtual presentation, Dr. McAllister reviewed the causes of migraines and other types of headaches, as well as other chronic conditions related to headaches. He also discussed risk factors and various approaches to treating headaches, such as holistic, biopsychological, non-pharmacological, and specific medications.
